Environmental Protection

Due regard shall be given to complying with environmental protection requirement. Initial assessments of each project shall establish and record any restrictions or limitations imposed to secure compliance with the Controls of Pollution act 1947, the Environmental  Protection Act 1990, and any subordinate Regulations, Codes or Guidance.

Particular attention shall be given to controls and requirements expressed within pre-tender documentation.

Arrangements for the recording of procedures and controls will be detailed within the project Safety Method Statement, and will be subject to ongoing review and development for the duration of the project.
